Meditation Type Childrens Meditations
Each children’s meditation is about 6-10 minutes in length and specifically designed to support the developing nervous systems of children. These sessions are trauma aware ensuring a safe, flexible and non-restrictive environment for exploration. Children are gently encouraged to listen to their bodies, reposition themselves as needed and engage with the meditation in a way that feels right for them, whether seated, lying down, standing, or even slowly walking. There are no set rules, whether they choose to keep their eyes open or closed, the emphasis is on creating a sense of gentle curiosity and personal comfort. These meditations invite children to discover what feels supportive for them in the moment, fostering mindfulness, relaxation and self awareness in a nurturing space.
