Welcome to Alite Mind, a caring and supportive space for adults and children with busy minds and lives to learn mindfulness and meditation in Adelaide.
Feel supported with private mindfulness coaching on a Tuesday or Wednesday, or one-hour guided meditation class held every Tuesday in a bespoke studio space in St Agnes.
Sessions are trauma-sensitive and incorporate science-based mindfulness and meditation practice, somatic self-reflection techniques, and sound therapies. Together, these have been shown to help reduce stress and anxiety, boost physical and emotional health and wellbeing, improve sleep, and regulate moods – as well as enhance creativity and intuition.
Mindfulness and meditation practices bring a real sense of grounding and relaxation, as well as greater awareness to cultivate self-kindness. They also support a full mind-body integrated connection, by making it easier to survey the signals the body sends about areas of pain, discomfort, or imbalance.
Children’s guided mindfulness classes incorporate creative mindful arts and crafts, sound therapies, mindful movement, calming techniques, short 10-minute guided meditations and more to learn how to bring and embody more mindfulness in their lives.
Also offering workplace workshops which can be tailored to the organisations needs. The program empowers your team with evidence based techniques and tools that instantly improve focus and reduce stress. By learning relaxation and resilience skills, they can navigate everyday challenges with greater confidence, creativity and calm.
Mindfulness is focusing on and being fully present in the moment. Being curious about and understanding your internal world – how you think and feel. Allowing each moment to be exactly as it is. Recognising emotions and feelings and letting them be just as they are. Putting aside judgement and having an attitude of kindness and connectedness towards yourself. Responding to your life in a way that supports you.
“Do not try to save the whole world or do anything grandiose. Instead, create a clearing in the dense forest of your life and wait there patiently, until the song that is your life falls into your own cupped hands.”
– Martha Postlewaite
You will discover guided meditation practices and skills developed from my formal studies and most influential teachers – as well as those that I have found to be most beneficial, including: mindfulness techniques, breath awareness, full body scan/awareness, relaxation, loving kindness meditation, visualisation, moving meditation, sound therapy, arts & crafts and journaling.
All these practices can be valuable and helpful for integrating and cultivating inner peace, calm and resilience into our demanding lives.
Each class is different, and the diversity is always interesting. Whether you’re a beginner, or have oodles of experience in meditation, this class is beneficial to anyone who would like to incorporate this as a part of their everyday routine.
I always look forward to what the next class has to offer, and the relaxation benefits it provides.

- Hayley” I’d highly recommend the Alite Mind Kids class to any parent.
It’s had such a positive impact on my daughter.
The classes are helping my daughter recognise how certain things in our world can make us feel and the emotions they can convey to us. Through colours, smells, tastes and sounds, my daughter has experienced an array of feelings and emotional connections. Yet has recognised that not everyone experiences the same. Through these experiences she is continuing to learn so much about herself and how to be mindful.
Thank you for creating this wonderful class for kids.”
