Alite Mind is a caring, safe, and supportive space offering women’s counselling, mindfulness coaching, adult group meditation sessions, and children’s mindfulness classes.  You can feel confident in knowing that you are being supported by a qualified, registered and trauma-aware Counsellor, specialising in mindfulness and meditation.
Whether you are looking for individual support from one of our counselling or coaching sessions, perhaps joining one of our group adult meditation classes or looking for that something extra to enhance your childs emotional and mental resilience, our services provides options for you to choose what supports you best.  Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. There are no musts or should’s in any of the sessions or classes as you are encouraged to always do what best supports you.

Carve out a moment for self-care by participating in our adult group meditation. Discover a space to pause, unwind and embrace much needed rest and relaxation. Tuesdays at 10am for one hour. Monday evenings once a month at 7pm.

Whether you're experiencing work, life or school stress, anxiety, overthinking, pain or other concerns, a private in-person mindfulness coaching session can be tailored to your specific needs. Incorporating an introduction to meditation and how this practice can offer an additional support in daily life.

Mindfulness & meditation classes for young people

Today, young people face so many distractions and challenges, leaving them with less energy or aptitude for learning – as well as fewer opportunities to sit in silence and stillness. As a result, they may often feel uncomfortable, anxious, bored or disconnected.

Alongside the fast pace of life, the pressure to perform at school and to navigate anti-social behaviour can also impact students, with their nervous systems becoming overloaded under the weight of stress and unrealistic expectations.

Learning science-based mindfulness techniques and simple meditation practices helps children to consciously learn to relax, let go of tension, and allow their mind to clear. They also discover a greater ability to focus and find a gentle place of rest and relaxation. As a result, they develop increased self-awareness, self-knowledge and self-kindness – skills that can support them throughout their lives.
