Mindful Steps – Children’s Mindfulness Program

A Children’s Mindfulness & Social Emotional Learning Program

Mindful Steps is a structured mindfulness and emotional wellbeing program designed to support children in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

Created for early learning centres, childcare services, kindergartens, and primary schools, the program introduces simple, practical mindfulness and guided meditation tools that support calm, focus, and emotional wellbeing.

Through engaging, age-appropriate experiences, children learn how to understand their emotions, regulate their bodies, and build confidence in expressing how they feel.

Mindful Steps also complements existing wellbeing and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) frameworks already used within schools and early learning settings — supporting emotional development alongside academic learning in a way that is practical and easy to implement.

Why This Matters

Children are navigating increasingly complex emotional and social environments, often without the tools to manage what they’re feeling.

This can impact focus, behaviour, and engagement in learning.

Mindful Steps supports children to build the foundational skills needed to pause, regulate, and respond with greater awareness — strengthening both wellbeing and their ability to learn.

If your team is looking for meaningful, practical wellbeing support, I’d love to connect.

What Is Mindful Steps?

Mindful Steps is a structured, progressive program that builds skills over time — not a one-off session.

It has been designed specifically for education settings, allowing mindfulness and meditation to be integrated into everyday classroom environments in a way that feels natural, sustainable, and aligned with existing practices.

What Children Gain

Through guided sessions, children develop the ability to recognise and understand their emotions, calm their nervous systems, and improve focus and attention.

They begin to respond rather than react, build confidence in expressing themselves, and strengthen their sense of connection to others.

These are lifelong skills that support both emotional wellbeing and learning outcomes.

Program Overview

The program is delivered through five structured modules that gently build on one another, supporting children to develop familiarity, confidence, and consistency with the practices.

Each module includes guided mindfulness activities, simple meditation practices, and practical tools that educators can easily integrate into their daily routines.

Delivery Options

Mindful Steps is designed to be flexible for education settings.

The program can be purchased and delivered within your own classrooms or organisation, with the option of additional educator training to support confident and effective implementation.

This allows mindfulness to become part of your everyday environment — not just an added extra.
